Yield: 4 people
Materials
- 2 cups white fish diced chunks
- 2 cups onion chopped
- 1 cup carrots peeled and chopped
- 1 cup celery chopped
- 1 cup white wine
- 1.5 qt vegetable broth low sodium
- 3 tb green grotto hot sauce
- 1 tb Mrs Dash seasoning blend ground
- 1 tsp lemon pepper salt free
- 1 tsp dry basil
- 1 tsp dry dill
- 2 bay leaf
- 2 tb fresh thyme leaves
- 1/2 cup fresh chives chopped, added at the end
- 1/4 cup fresh parsley chopped, added at the end
- 2 cup sour cream fat free
Instructions
- In a large stockpot over medio high heat, sauté onions, garlic, carrots and celery until tender
- Add wine to loosen brown bits stuck to the pan
- Add remaining liquids and bring to a boil
- Lower to a simmer for an hour
- Add sour cream and thicken with corn starch
- Add fish chunks and allow to cook thru for several minutes
- Finish with fresh herbs at the end
