Parmesan Breaded Asparagus Spears
Materials
- 1 bunch asparagus (bottom ends cut off)
- 2 teaspoons granulated onion
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1 teaspoon granulated garlic
- 1 teaspoon lemon pepper (salt free)
- 1 cup egg beaters
- 1 cup white whole wheat flour
- 2 cups panko bread crumbs
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan
Instructions
- Steam asparagus for 2 minutes.
- Allow to cool.
- Season asparagus with spices
- Dredge asparagus in flour, then egg, then bread crumbs/parmesan.
- Place onto sheet tray that has been sprayed with cooking spray.
- Lightly mist the breaded asparagus and bake at 350F for 10-15 minutes or until golden brown.

Serve with Buffalo, BBQ, Marinara sauce or any of your favorite sauces.
