Pritikin Brownie
Pritikin Brownie
Materials
- 1/4 cup canola oil (or apple sauce)
- 1/4 cup water warm
- 1/2 cup cocoa powder (unsweeted)
- 1/2 cup Splenda
- 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
- 1/4 cup egg whites
- 1/2 cup flour (whole wheat)
- 1/4 cup nuts chopped, or raisons
Instructions
- Pre-heat oven at 350 F
- Lightly grease an 8 inch square pan or line with greased paper
- In a medium bowl combine oil, water and cocoa powder and stir until cocoa powder is dissolved
- Add Splenda and mix well
- Add egg whites and stir until well combined
- Stir in vanilla. Add flour. Mix until all the flour is mixed in (do not over mix)
- Fold in nuts
- Spread in pan and bake for 25 minutes
- Cool completely before cutting into squares
