Toasted Sesame Dressing
At Pritikin, we LOVE our salads! And you can love yours too, by adding your favorite dressing. Problem is, your favorite dressing is probably not that great for you, so make your own instead!
Materials
- 1 cup toasted white sesame seeds
- 4 tablespoons ginger minced
- 2 tablespoons garlic minced
- .5 cup scallions chopped
- 1.5 cups rice wine vinegar
- 1 cup orange juice concentrate
- 1.25 cups apple juice concentrate
- 2 tablespoons lower sodium soy sauce
- 2 tablespoons sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons toasted black sesame seeds
- xanthan gum as needed, to thicken
Instructions
- Blend all ingredients except BLACK sesame seeds until smooth
- Add black sesame seeds after blending
